Are you a junior at ISU? Do you possess the ideals of scholarship, leadership, and service? Are you looking to join a prestigious, fun, and active group on campus?

Join Red Tassel Mortar Board!!!

Membership Requirements

While it is an honor to be selected for membership in Mortar Board, it is that willingness of the selected individual to make the commitment to continue to serve that differentiates an honor society from an honorary. When the individual accepts membership, this acceptance indicates the person's agreement to accept the responsibility and obligation to be an active participant in the chapter. This commitment is an agreement to actively support the ideals of the society--scholarship, leadership, and service. In addition, the following stipulations apply:

    -You must have at least a 3.30 GPA.
    -You must have at least 60 credit hours.
    -You must be on-campus at least one semester next school year.

Apply For Membership

1. Identify two references who have known you in the areas of university scholarship, leadership, and/or service. This is not limited to just your time at ISU, but may not include high school.

2. Ask your references to fill out the recommendation form. We recommend either you:

-or pick up a form at 301 Hovey Hall; 2100 Student Affairs Office and deliver to your reference

All recommendations must be turned in by February 2nd! All forms must be signed and dated! They must be dropped off or mailed to: Red Tassel. 301 Hovey hall. 2100 Student Affairs Office.
